The Faculty Administration congratulates the Faculty of Engineering theatre team on receiving the Special Arbitration Award for Best Group Performance in the Egyptian National Theatre Festival in its sixteenth session, headed by artist Mohamed Riad, which is named Al-Zaeem Adel Imam. The event concluded on August 14 in the presence of Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani, minister of Culture, the festival's president, Mohamed Riad, and numerous artists, journalists, and the public. 
Thirty-seven performances competed for the festival awards, produced by university theaters and various organizations.
The victory was about the play " Sahra Al-Harrousa, "which deals with the attempts of the French campaign to control the minds of the Egyptian people, and the popular conservative group responded to this during a popular play evening saluted by the band by order of the French army Napoleon Bonaparte in Cairo "Al-Harrousa" in 1798, directed by Mahmoud Hassan Garatsi and authored by Mohammed Abu al-Ala al-Salamuni.
