Training of the Faculty of Engineering Ain Shams University students at the University of East London (UEL) in England


A group of students from the Interdisciplinary and Specialized programs from multiple stages affiliated with multiple programs, including the Computer Engineering and Software Systems Program (CESS), Communication Systems Engineering Program (COMM), Mechatronics Engineering and Automation Program (MCTA), and the Department of Design and Production Engineering for the bachelors stage - Faculty of Engineering - Ain Shams University participated in summer training, 2023 at University of East London (UEL) in Newham County, London, England, under the supervision of Dr. Dalia Selim Louis, unit head of the Computer Engineering and Software Systems Program (CESS).
The students have joined the summer training program at the Architecture, Computing, and Engineering School (ACE) as a part of the University’s dual degree agreement. The aim of the summer school is to study big data and cloud computing for smart cities.
The agenda of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Moneeb Elsabbagh, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs for England, included a visit to the students of the summer training at the university to follow the progress and regularity of the training, to hear their proposals, and to exchange views and ideas. The training program included visits to many tourist attractions, including the British Museum and  Buckingham Palace. 
The students took several photographs, and thanked Dr. Amin Karami and Dr. Aloysius Edoh, lecturers in the Department of Engineering & Computing, School of Architecture Computing and Engineering, for the warm reception and valuable efforts of their group.
