What Will Learn?

Course AimsBy the end of the course the students will be able to: • Differentiate among the data, information, and knowledge. • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of different ontology based systems. • Recognize the different types of methodology for ontology engineering. • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of ontology acquisition. • Demonstrate the standard ontology languages and its query. • Understand the concept of ontology development. • Select the appropriate type of reasoning according to the type of problem-solving. • Understand the concept of semantic web and the role of ontology in it. The student shall attain the above-mentioned objectives efficiently under controlled guidance and supervision.
