What Will Learn?

Course Aimsprovide students with the needed knowledge and skills, which enable them to analyze control systems in time domain, in S-domain, and in frequency domain. Also, it enables them to design and implement suitable controllers, based on pertinent criteria.

Obtainment of transfer functions along with illustrative examples. Block diagram reduction. Signal flow graphs. Performance of control systems. Time response of first and second order systems and response specifications. Identification of systems from time response. Static error analysis. Classical controllers: P, PI, PD, PID.
