What Will Learn?

Course AimsBy the end of this course students will be able to: • Identify different types of waste and its composition and handling them • Recognize of technological and non-technological aspects of solid waste management • Identify the different waste treatment methods • suggest different utilization of recycled wastes byproducts • Analyze systems of waste recycling • Using new technologies to generate alternative solutions for energy production from waste • Design a solid waste management system that is capable of functioning not only in situations where sufficient resources are available but also under the more challenging conditions • Design of sanitary landfills
