What Will Learn?

Course AimsThe aim of this course is to provide students with the knowledge about theories of design, principles of design, and methodologies of solving design problems, as well as the skills of collecting and interpreting data, thinking creatively, assessing characteristics and performance of different solutions, combining and exchanging different ideas, and selecting appropriate solutions through effective collaboration and teamwork.

the course introduces the students to the process of design from studies, site analysis, phases of conceptual, schematic and detailed design up to the complex consideration of design such as the considerations of the environment, energy conservation and resource efficiency, social considerations such as human needs and scale, space and place differentiation etc. -
