What Will Learn?

Course AimsBy the end of the course, the students will be able to: - Acquire basic Architectural and physical problems, through the analysis of context and precedents. - Determine basic principles and development themes that has to be considered in the design process. - Acquire different techniques and design skills for integrated architectural, urban design and planning projects. - Elaborate an appropriate relation between architectural, urban design and urban development. - Realize Methods necessary for the integration of form and function of urban development projects. - Adopt principles and practices appropriately in practice to develop practical skills in this scope.

On the planning level: Applying all skills and knowledge to create the convenient housing projects complying with the National Development Plans. Studying and analyzing similar projects. Benefiting from the application of science and the principles of planning and systems, Setting the suitable strategic approach on the planning level and it’s the objectives, extracting needed actions and its requisites. On the design level: Putting the Urban Program of the project components and Conceptual zoning–based on the study of surrounding urbanization and its impact on the project. Project preparation with all its elements, analytical studies, report and perspectives -
