Modern Art Movements
What Will Learn?

Course AimsThe course aims at identifying Art and its significance and demonstrate the evolution of art through history through history going through Modernism till contemporary Art Movements. It aims to Gain an appreciation for the aesthetics of the visual arts. Giving the ability to analyse art works using the basic visual elements and principles of design in two- and three-dimensional media. Solve design problems and identifies different ways of design. Create a relationship between architectural concepts, design and Art. Develop an informed personal reaction to the arts based upon critical analysis of various modern and contemporary art forms. Develop strategies and acquire skills for effective communication in the professional career with the aid of new technologies and software. Work among others (in groups). The course digs into the Program Competencies Served by Course.
