What Will Learn?

  • Course Aims
    By the end of the course the students will be able to understand the multi-dimensional character of land. He will be able to: • Apply criteria of land subdivision law, its implementing regulation, • Prepare needed documents of land subdivision and detailed planning according to Egyptian regulation. • Analyze land slopes and land development to achieve balance cut and fill in topographic land, considering comfortable slopes for vehicles and pedestrian circulation • Formulate sustainable land management’s strategies for resources conservation and efficient use

    Building and land subdivision law, its implementing regulation, its impact of legislation on urbanism, basics and principles of land management, land readjustment and informal settlement regularization. Introduction to the problems confronting those who have to make decisions about land management and resource use legislations that govern practicing the profession. Needed documents of land subdivision and detailed planning according to Egyptian regulation.
