    This course is an introduction to basics of project management and its main objectives. It scrutinizes the planning process in different phases of a project. It also previews the role of quality in the project multistage (technical investigation, confirming assurance steps, applications using computer). Moreover, it offers application on execution of urban and architectural projects.

    Basics of project management and its objectives, Initial and running costs, The importance of feasibility studies, Land economics and marketing studies in making design decisions, Types of projects turnovers as well as administrative and environmental aspects, Skills for Planning and time scheduling of jobs through the evaluation of programs, Critical path method, “Gantt” chart, Cost-time analysis, progress curves and resource allocation, The “Entrepreneurship” definition, importance, and skills.

    أساسيات إدارة المشاريع وأهدافها، التكاليف الأولية والتشغيلية، أهمية دراسات الجدوى، اقتصاديات الأراضي والدراسات التسويقية في اتخاذ القرارات التصميمية، أنواع دوران المشاريع وكذلك الجوانب الإدارية والبيئية، مهارات التخطيط والجولة الزمنية للوظائف من خلال تقييم البرامج، أسلوب المسار الحرج، مخطط جانت، تحليل التكلفة والوقت، منحنيات التقدم وتخصيص الموارد، تعريف ريادة الأعمال وأهميتها ومهاراتها.
