English Description
Revision of mass-spring-damper system (free, damped, forced). Single degree of freedom systems (translational, rotational, torsional, and multi-body systems). Applications: Vibration isolation, Selection of Anti-Vibration-Mounts for machines, engines, HVAC equipment. Vibration of two degree of freedom systems (free, forced). Equivalent torsional systems: Geared system, Crank system. Applications: Vibration absorber, Crank system. Multi-degree-of-freedom systems. Continuous systems: bending of shafts, analytical solution, Whirling of shafts. Vibration measurements: Instrumentation. Frequency measurement. Damping characterization. Forced vibrations. Transmissibility. Vibration absorber. Field measurements. -
