What Will Learn?

Course Aims- Interpret the principles and methods of soil improvement. - List the skills on numerical analysis of raft foundation. - Select the methods of ground modification. - Demonstrate the applications of geosynthetics and concept of design of mechanically stabilized earth walls. - Demonstrate the types of problematic soils and the discuss the suitable foundation recommendations. - Generalize the fundamentals of slope stability on the design of embankments and dams.
