Recycling of wastes in construction: Types of waste materials, Agricultural wastes, Industrial wastes and by-products, Construction and demolition wastes, Solid waste materials (Glass, Rubber Tires, Saw dust, Paper, Carpet fibers……). Sustainability: Definition, Environmental, social, and economic aspects of sustainability, Sustainability in civil engineering, Environmental problems related to construction, Environmental impact of building materials. Green building: Building codes and green building rating systems, environmentally friendly cements and concretes (Green cements, Green concrete, Pervious concrete, Geo-polymer concrete). -
