Course AimsThis course aims to: 1. Apply knowledge gained in the prerequisite course Organic Chemistry for Engineering PHM141 to evaluate a topic of significance to the polymer chemistry community. 2. Synthesize the most important polymers, 3. Nomenclate and classify the polymers and their Structures. 4. Learn the Methods of polymer characterization with elements of physical chemistry of polymers. 5. Let the students know the important role played by polymers in society and industry.
