What Will Learn?

  • Course Aims
    The aim of the course is to provide students with the needed knowledge and skills, which enable them to define and manipulate the main design techniques of the main vehicle components, prior to design calculations and finally analyzing the performance of these designed components.

    Vehicle components, Static and dynamic Vehicle loads, Design of Suspension System, Design of steering System, Design of transmission components, Design of brake systems, Design of vehicle structure with consideration of crash worthiness. Dynamic performance of the designed vehicle systems and the effects the dynamics of the vehicle, Applications on systems design using simulation- and finite-elements- software.
