What Will Learn?

Course AimsThe main objective of this course is to provide students with a broad understanding and knowledge of operations management concepts, methods and tools used in both service-oriented and product-oriented organizations to gain a competitive edge. By the end of the course the students will be able to: • Demonstrate knowledge on production planning and control systems in industrial environment • Develop mathematical models describing actual and hypothetical production systems to the optimal utilization of resources • Solve production and operation management problems • Work in teams to formulate and solve real life case studies
