Course Aims• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the basic considerations of machine parts and assembly drawings. • Illustration of machine parts, application of manufacturing details, and workshop working drawings. • Recognize modeling techniques, Part design conceptual vision, concrete computer-based description, virtual worlds, physical prototyping, and manufacturing. • Introduce solid modeling, such as parametric part design. Procedural modeling. 3D solid modeling. Assembly: basics, design. Drafting: basics, workbench. Visualization.
