Review of synchronous and asynchronous designs. Detailed ASIC design flow: Front-end digital design and verification of control circuits (high-level synthesis, logic synthesis, technology mapping, design for test). Detailed back-end digital design and verification (floor-planning, placement and routing, chip integration, physical verification). Experiments covering the complete ASIC design flow to support the theoretical contents of the course. -
