Course AimsStudents successfully completing MDP 454 will gain the following: ● Understanding the electrochemical nature of corrosion ● Identifying the different corrosion mechanisms in wet and dry atmospheres. ● Determine the different factors affecting the corrosion of metals and alloys. ● Distinguish between the different types of corrosion. ● High-temperature oxidation of metals and alloys. ● The different methods used for material protection against corrosion. ● The ability to investigate and analyze corrosion failures.
