Course AimsThe aim of this course is to enable students to: • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of water treatment works & wastewater treatment & Disposal systems • Have the design concept & design the surface water treatment works (Sedimentation, Filtration & Disinfection). • Have the knowledge about important pre-studies for water & wastewater treatment works • Be aware with the water supply sources & design the treatment works for each source water quality • Design the preliminary treatment works. • Design the primary treatment works • Design the Secondary treatment works • Design the Tertiary treatment & reuse works • Design the sludge treatment and disposal works
