Selected Topics in Highways and Airports Engineering
What Will Learn?

Course AimsThe aim of this course is to introduce the student to the main elements and the geometric design of highways with their different types such as freeways, multilane and local roads and how to design each of these types. It also introduces the material characteristics of highways construction including asphalt layers as well as the pavement design. Finally, this course introduces the main elements of airports airside with the design criteria.
