Under the supervision of Professor Omar Elhusseiny, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Professor Ahmed Moneeb Elsabbagh, Vice Dean for Education and Students Affairs, Professor Ahmed Ragheb, Coordinator of Student Activities, representatives from the Youth Care, the Students Union at the Faculty of Engineering organized a recreational trip to Sharm El Sheikh and Ras Shitan in August 2024 to encourage domestic tourism and sightseeing as part of the summer activity.
The tour program included the Old Market Sharm el Sheikh, the Sahaba Mosque, a free tour of Naama Bay, a cruise on a yacht to the islands of Tiran and Sanafir, heading to Wadi Al-Washwash by 4x4 cars and climbing mountains to reach the beginning of the valley and the green lake.
The trip included several activities such as diving and snorkeling in the Red Sea, Safari trips in the Al Rewaysat area of Sharm el-Sheikh, and eating Bedouin in one of Ras Shaytan's camps.
Students have taken several photographs as an expression of their journey.
