Under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and with the support and patronage of Prof. Dr. Omar Elhosseiny, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, and in cooperation with the International Collaboration Office, The Faculty of Engineering organized the closing meeting of the World Design Studio 2024 Workshop, which took place from March 1st to 10th.

The closing meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Shao Jizhong, Vice Dean of the faculty of Landscape Architecture at Huazhong Agricultural University, Prof. Dr. Hazem El-Daly, Head of the Department of Architecture at Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, Dr. Ahmed Khaled, Egyptian WDS Coordinator, Dr. Ahmed Iraqi, Egyptian WDS Project Supervisor, and Dr. Wei Zhang, Chinese WDS Project Supervisor. The workshop included field visits to project sites in Aswan, a meeting with the Governor of Aswan, a closing event at Ain Shams University, and a welcome reception with the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Egypt.
