Reception of a delegation of visiting professors and postgraduate students from the Department of Landscape and Environment, Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture, Lebanese University, at Faculty of Engineering - Ain Shams University. 
The Faculty of Engineering - Ain Shams University, under the patronage of Professor Dr. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty, and Professor Dr. Amr Shaat, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, and in cooperation with the Office of International Collaboration Office, hosted a Lebanese delegation of visiting professors and of postgraduate students from the Department of landscape and Environment, Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture, Lebanese University. The Lebanese delegation attended an international workshop in Cairo from December 14 to 20, 2023, titled “The Pyramids Plateau: Creating a Visual Identity and a Metaphoric Gate of Cairo”. The workshop was organized by the Faculty of Engineering – ASU, headed by Professor Dr. Marwa Abu Al-Fotouh Khalifa and Dr. Noha Gamal Said, professors at the Department of Urban Design and Urban Planning, with teaching assistants and in collaboration with Professor Dr. Nina Zidan - Head of the Department Landscape and Environment and Professor Samar Makki from the Lebanese University. On the closing day, certificates were handed over in the presence of Prof. Dr. Omar Al-Husseiny - Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Prof. Dr. Akram Farouk - Vice Dean for Environmental and Community Affairs. The Faculty of Engineering expresses its sincere thanks to Dr. Laila Al-Sayed Al-Masry, Professor at the Faculty of Regional and Urban Planning at Cairo University, for gifting the book “Landscape Architecture and the Role of Plants in the Design of Al-Azhar Park” to the Lebanese University in the presence of Engineer Marwa Abdel-Baqi from Sites International (Prof. Maher Stino and Prof Laila Elmasry).
