Signing a cooperation agreement between the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, and the Egyptian Society of Engineers
A cooperation agreement between the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University and the Egyptian Society of Engineers was signed at the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University on Thursday, 14 December 2023, Under the supervision of Professor Omar ElHusseiny, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Ain Shams University and in the presence of Professor Ahmed Moneeb ElSabbagh, Vice Dean for Education and Students Affairs and representative of the consultant engineer Farouk al-Hakim, Secretary-General of the Egyptian Society of Engineers and a representative of the Egyptian society in signing, in the presence of Professor Doaa Kamaleldin, coordinator of the cooperation agreement, and Professor Mohamed Abdelaziz Hassan, Acting Head of Electrical Power and Machines Engineering Department and Member of the Society, and Doctor Mohamed Ezzat Abdel Rahman, Associate Professor of Power and Electrical Machinery Engineering.
The cooperation agreement aims to improve the quality of engineering education by providing opportunities for research and training activities, curriculum development and training programmes. The cooperation agreement also aims to promote scientific research, development and cooperation in conducting joint research in various engineering fields, as well as supporting engineering innovation and providing innovative solutions to engineering problems in innovative ways.
The Egyptian Society of Engineers has been a pioneer in scientific, research and training engineering development since its establishment in Egypt in 1920 and aims to establish engineering on scientific and cultural bases through various research, organizing seminars, publishing periodicals in engineering sciences, holding lectures and conferences, and communicating with engineering associations and bodies for cooperation and exchanging research and knowledge.
