Faculty of Engineering - Ain Shams University through the International Collaboration Office, and under the supervision of Professor Omar Al-Husseiny, Dean of the Faculty, coordinated a meeting for the Sawiris Penn Scholarship students with Professor Ahmed Moneeb Al-Sabbagh Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.
 Professor Ahmed Moneeb Al-Sabbagh met with the four students of the first batch of the scholarship for the academic year 2022/2023, from the Architectural Engineering Program and the Electronics and Communications Engineering Program. The students spent the entire third year at the University of Pennsylvania in USA. Professor Ahmed Moneeb Al-Sabbagh also met with the six students of the second batch of the scholarship for the academic year 2023/2024, before their departure in mid-August.
In the meeting, the Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs highlighted the importance of taking advantage of the opportunities available to students at the Faculty and the necessity of transferring the experiences gained through studying abroad. He listened to the experience of the students and assured the support of the faculty for the students enrolled in the scholarship. Faculty of Engineering and the Sawiris Foundation extend their sincere wishes of success to all students with the scholarship.
The Pennsylvania Sawiris Scholarship is offered to students registered in Specialized programs only.
