A group of Interdisciplinary students affiliated with the Energy and Renewable Energy program of the Bachelor of Engineering Faculty of Ain Shams University are currently joining the fall 2023 semester for five months at Arizona State University in the USA.  This is part of the Student Exchange Program of the Center of Excellence for Energy (COE), funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The Center of Energy Excellence aims to drive the transition of energy diversity in Egypt to help the country achieve its target of 42% renewable energy by 2035, drive energy innovation, competition, and modernization, as well as address various challenges. 
In addition to study materials, the Student Exchange Scholarship includes students participating in energy efficiency and storage projects and field visits to various clean energy projects in Arizona, USA.
