Profile
The Transportation and Traffic Planning Consulting Unit (TTP Unit) is one of the semi-private units that woks under the umbrella of the Engineering Consulting Center (ECC), Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University. TTP unit has started its activities since 1996. Several studies have been conducted in the field of transportation planning and traffic engineering in Egypt since this date. The total budget of the conducted studies so far was about four million Egyptian pounds.
TTP unit has several experts in the field of transportation and traffic, who are staff members in the faculty, as well as some engineers. Most of the TTP unit staff has wide experience inside and outside the country whether in conducting the relevant studies or in the field of training.
TTP unit has several computers, transportationm and traffic software, and several traffic devices that usually be used in the studies conducted by the unit.
MISSION
- To service the society through introducing solutions for the transportation and traffic problems with a scientific manner.
- To combine both the scientific and practical experiences for the TTP staff member.
- To correlate the scientific researches conducted by the TTP unit with the practical issues of the transportation and traffic fields.
