* Professional Engineer (Ontario P.Eng.).
* Ph.D. in civil engineering (Major: Fatigue of corroding steel structures)
* M.Sc. in civil engineering (Major: Behaviour of Thin-walled Tapered Beam-Columns)
* 13 years of professional and academic experience in the field of structural engineering.
* Strong Experience in Steel Bridge Design and RC and PT Concrete Bridge Design.
* Practical knowledge of several building and bridge design codes and the concepts of structural dynamics and earthquake engineering.
* Professional experience with over 7 of the top used finite element analysis packages.
* Strong knowledge of OOP concepts and several programming languages.
* Fluent English and Arabic with a very good working knowledge of French.
* Utilized FE programs and programming skills to overcome complex design problems.
* Taught “Design of Railway steel bridges”,“Design of Steel Structures”,“Theory of Structures" and “Programming using C++” courses at the university level for four years.

* Custom programming to tackle engineering problems using C#, Objective-C, VB.NET and VBA.
