Dr. El-Sokkary received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Civil (Structural) Engineering from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada, and the B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering from Ain Shams University, Egypt. His research interests include Seismic Assessment and Retrofit of Existing Structures, Structural Dynamics and Earthquake engineering, and Numerical Modeling of Structures. Dr. El-Sokkary is a licensed Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario, Canada and in Egypt.
