through more than 26 years of practical and academic work, Dr. Ali have a wide experience in teaching, design and analysis of geotechnical systems including:
⁻ Earth dams including practical and academic experience in cofferdams, discharge and flood control dams in several countries including Egypt, Oman, Algeria and Saudi Arabia.
⁻ Tunnels & underground excavation including microtunnels and diverging tunnels.
⁻ Deep and shallow foundations in soil and rocks
⁻ Ground improvement, dredging and reclamation works
⁻ Geosynthetic materials
⁻ Earth-supporting systems
⁻ Ground water modelling
⁻ Non-destructive testing for deep foundations
⁻ Maritime rehabilitation works
