1993 SAUDI ARABIA: The Technical Director of the following study:
"Feasibility Study for Mass Transport Passenger Services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia".The study aimed at setting up a future transportation and strategic plan for public bus in the Kingdom till year 2010. The study covered intercity, international , Hajj and contracts’ services. For the purpose of estimating travel demand in the future, different transportation models (trip generation, trip distribution and modal choice ) have been developed based on extensive data collection program all over the kingdom.

1993 EGYPT: Existing Demand for Transportation of Frozen Products and Determination of the Expected Demand and the Required Modes of Transport till the year 2000 - Academy of Scientific Research and Technology.

1992 Egypt: Sectoral Strategic Plan and Evaluation of Road Sector Requirement in Fayyoum Governorate”, Transplan Consulting Office, Transport and Road Authority, Fayyoum Governorate.

1992 EGYPT : Updating of the data base of National Transport Study in Egypt at TRANSPLAN consulting office. The study included full roadside and terminal survey for the different types of vehicles(cars, trucks, buses, taxi, etc..). The purpose of this survey was to establish an O-D matrix and to recognize the reasons behind the selection of a particular mode to calibrate a mode choice model.

1991 EGYPT : Design and supervision of implementation of about fourteen intersections in Heliopolis area, Cairo, Egypt.

1991 EGYPT : One of the team of Scientific Research Academy in Egypt in the study of "Determining of the optimum Freight Modal Split in Egypt and Comparing This With the Current Situation Showing the Impact of the Difference Between These Two Cases on the National Economy and Setting up the Future Policies Necessary to Guarantee That Freight Transportation Process in Egypt Will Be According to the Optimum Case”.

1991 EGYPT : One of the team of " Transportation Planning Center (TRANSPLAN)" office in the study of " Calculation of the Operating Costs, Subsidy and Pricing for the Different Transportation Modes in Egypt". A lot of operational and administrational data have been collected and used for establishing different mathematical models to calculate both financial and economic operational costs for the different modes (highway - railway - waterway ). The amount of subsidy for each transportation sector in the country has been determined and predicted in the future. Different pricing polices have been set up to reduce this gap between the revenues and costs.

1990 EGYPT: The privatization process of Fayyoum Governorate Public Bus company in association with U.S. AID Program Team.


1990 EGYPT : Working on Ph. D. program that included establishing a Simultaneous Equilibrium Mathematical Model to predict passenger intercity taxi demand in Egypt. The model included the four main steps of transportation process for the intercity passenger movement.

1987 EGYPT "Grain Transportation Study": The main purpose of the study was to get the optimum distribution of grains from the different ports of the different storage places using the most appropriate modes. The study also determined the future grain demand till year 2006.

1985 EGYPT : " Survey Study of passenger public transport modes owned by the govern orates in Egypt": The objective of this study was to survey the bus fleet capacity of the governorates as well as their operation and transportation demand.
