Supervised Thesis:
1. Hybrid Geothermal-Solar System Analysis (Ph.D. degree): the objective of this research is to:
- Perform parametric analysis on thermal performance of hybrid geothermal-solar energy system to control the air temperature in a closed environment such as: conditioned space, number of suction ducts, suction duct length, suction duct diameter, depth of suction ducts and height of solar chimney.
- Conduct an experiment to obtain relationships between the controlling parameters and recommend the dimensionless form of the relationship that achieves the optimum thermal performance.
- Model the suggested geometry of the experiment and validate numerical results with experimental data.

2. Study of heat transfer enhancement of earth-to-air heat exchanger using porous media (M.Sc. degree): The objective of this research is to study the effect of changing of the apex angle Ѳ of the V-shape porous plug on the coefficient of performance (COP) of the earth-to-air heat exchanger (EAHE).

3. Study of the performance of Chevron nozzle geometry variations (M.Sc. degree): the objective of this research is to study the geometry variations of Chevron nozzle on the performance of supersonic turbofan engines. The present study aims to characterize new configuration of chevron penetration's in order to investigate how to reduce jet noise of an aircraft while achieving minimal impact on thrust and engine performance.

4. Solar disinfestation: This research is performed in collaboration with the Faculty of Science – Ain Shams University to design and execute a solar disinfestation system for grains. The system is designed to control the temperature of grains to a degree where insects cannot live. So we are using solar energy as a disinfestation source to kill undesired organisms.

5. Thermal management of Photovoltaic cell (M.Sc. degree): the objective of this research is to study the characteristics of the PV cell with different configurations of active and passive cooling.

6. Experimental Study of a Liquid-To-Air Heat Exchanger Using Copper Woven Wire Mesh (M.Sc. degree): the objective of this study is to perform a thorough analysis of the performance of a cross-flow heat exchanger using wire mesh configurations.
